Mike is the co-founder of Oxygen and has over 25 years’ experience in the UK commercial real estate sector.
He is focused on sourcing investment opportunities and executing deliverable business plans for investors.
Mike leads on investment acquisitions, sourcing debt, and structuring transactions for Oxygen.
He has experience across all UK property sectors with a particular focus on Central London offices. Prior to launching Oxygen, he worked at ING Real Estate Investment Management.
Aston Woodward BSc Hons MRICS was the co-founder of Oxygen Asset Management in 2004 and worked with Mike Harris at ING Barings. Mike and Aston have worked together for 25 years.
Before founding Oxygen, Aston worked at ING in the real estate team asset managing a predominately office and industrial portfolio which was subsequently created into an ING backed income fund. Aston was responsible for all the assets and fund performance and through transactions increased the value of the fund to over £0.5BN. This fund was a top performer at ING Real Estate, and this was accredited to the active management process. A strategy employed today at Oxygen Asset Management.
Aston continues to focus on performance of the £3BN Oxygen portfolio, and oversees redevelopment, lease restructuring, sales as well as working with investors on acquisitions and opportunities.
Outside of real estate, Aston is the Chair of 65 Degrees North, a veteran’s charity that enables rehabilitation through expeditions. As a former Royal Marine, Aston believes in rehabilitation through hardship as a process and often supports expeditions himself as well fund raising and providing awareness and mentoring wounded, injured and sick.
Outside of work Aston lives with his wife and three children and owns woodlands with biodiversity and re-wilding programmes. He also enjoys cycling, skiing, and climbing.
Michelle has been Head of Development at Oxygen since 2014. She has worked in the construction industry for over 20 years and has delivered more than £1billion of capital projects.
Her approach is collaborative, with a focus on understanding the clients’ requirement and developing a team and strategy to deliver the desired results. With a hands-on approach, you can expect involvement in all key aspects of the project, from design team assembly, procurement, through to project delivery.
She has significant experience in dealing with real estate projects in central London, which is a complex and dynamic market, including listed buildings, conservation areas, new build delivery and repositioning of assets.
An active member of the British Council of Offices (BCO) Michelle sits on the BCO mentoring committee helping shape the industry future. She is also a Judge for the National Annual BCO Awards and a panellist in various industry events highlighting the recognition of her experience within the real estate sector.
Jonny joined Oxygen in 2020 as a Senior Asset Manager and is focused on delivering asset management strategies and creating value for investors. Jonny supports the team to underwrite and execute investment acquisitions for clients.
He worked at CBRE Global Investors as assistant fund manager on three UK separate account portfolios. He has transaction and asset management experience across all UK property sectors. Prior to joining Oxygen he worked at CBRE Japan as a capital markets adviser on inbound investment.
Amber joined the Development team at Oxygen in 2022, she is an experienced Project Architect and WELL AP specialising in fit-out, office refurbishment and retrofit in Central London.
Amber is skilled at working with clients from pre-start stages to establish vision and aspirations, whilst retaining commercial value and rigorous design with a 'get it done' approach.
As a WELL Accredited professional Amber is focused on the well design of buildings, she is able to offer this knowledge on projects to ensure they are meeting the highest wellbeing standards.
As a sustainability champion for the business, Amber will be focused on ensuring design is sustainable and materials where possible will have a Net Zero Specification.
James joined Oxygen in 2023 as an Asset Manager to focus on the implementation of property strategies to add value for clients, as well as sourcing and underwriting investment opportunities.
James previously worked at Knight Frank within the Capital Markets team focussing on the London offices and national shopping centres. Prior to joining Oxygen, James was seconded to abrdn where he managed multiple properties within office, retail, industrial and residential sectors across several funds.
Craig is a Deloitte qualified Chartered Accountant with work experience in the South African, US and UK markets.
Having spent 10 years at Investec Private Bank, focussing primarily on property lending, he then co-founded a real estate investment business with assets in South Africa and the UK.
Outside of property, Craig is an active angel investor with a diversified portfolio of investments.
Fraser Draycott is a MRICS Project Manager with significant experience in the development and construction sectors having managed projects across the UK and Europe for over 10 years. As a Director of Development & Construction at M&G Real Estate, he has successfully led projects ranging from £2m to £300m, spanning commercial, mixed-use, industrial, and residential developments. Fraser's background in strategic project management, cost consultancy, and risk mitigation is a key factor in his ability to deliver high-quality projects and positive outcomes for clients. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Construction Management and Quantity Surveying from the University of Reading and is known for his straightforward, commercial advice.
Nick is a Chartered Surveyor and has over 25 years’ experience in the UK commercial real estate sector.
He specialises in purchase due diligence and the asset management of portfolios on behalf of our clients.
He has experience across all UK property sectors and focus’ on the Industrial, Central London office and Retail Warehouse markets.
Angela joined Oxygen in 2019 as Office Manager and assists in the smooth day to day running of the company. She worked at CBRE, within their City Business Team as PA to the Central London Development Team.
Prior to joining Oxygen, she worked at BH2, formerly GM Real Estate, as EA to four Partners responsible for investment transactions.
Neil has over 25 years' experience within the real estate fund management business. Specialising in the London market across all sectors his experience covers origination , development, joint venture structuring and asset management.
Previously Head of London at Aviva Investors where he was responsible for a portfolio of circa £3bn of assets which included a number of strategic joint ventures with overseas investors.
Tony has specialised for over 35 years in the property investment and development sector of the Central London market particularly the City, Midtown and the London Docklands. He has handled over £28 billion of investment transactions, land purchases and sales and some 10 million sq ft of development projects in London. He has extensive experience in the restructuring of ground leases, planning applications and development and investment funding for large schemes.
He advises several leading institutional and private investors on investment policy and strategy.
Tony is also a Senior Advisor at Deloitte LLP and a Governor at Ibstock Place School.
